Privacy Policy - Florence Nurse app

This policy explains how the Florence Nurse iOS app handles your information. The app is provided by B-NYS GCV (Belgium) and is a companion to the Florence platform for home-care nurses (thuisverpleging).

What the app collects

The app is an account-based tool: you log in and work with your own care team. To do that it processes:

• Account information - your name and email address, to sign you in and identify you to your team.
• Messages - the chat messages you send and receive with your team.
• Photos - photos you choose to take or attach and share in chat.
• Schedule data - your shifts/agenda, shown so you can see your planning.

How it is used

This data is used solely to provide the app's functionality - signing in, showing your agenda, and letting you communicate with your care team. It is stored on the Florence backend on servers within the European Union. We do not use it for advertising, and the app contains no tracking, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party advertising technology. We do not sell your data.

Device permissions

• Camera - to take a photo to share in chat.
• Photo Library - to attach existing photos to chat, and to optionally save photos from chat to your library.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. You can sign out at any time, and deleting the app removes its locally stored session. To exercise your rights regarding data held on the platform, contact us below.
